We’re looking for a permanent Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team at NOVA Technical! \n\n Along with a salary of up to £40,000 per annum, you will receive a range of benefits including a commission structure (up to 25% over threshold with no threshold if the monthly target is achieved), 25 days holiday increasing with service, a day off for your birthday and training/development opportunities. \n\n What you’ll do as Recruitment Consultant:\n\nResource relevant candidates for your clients and forward plan ensuring that you have enough candidates of various disciplines to support your desk needs.\nProactively communicate with clients via regular calls, service visits, surveys, and mailshots to identify their current and anticipated needs to fulfil via contact of the current database or by advertising through job boards or social media.\nContinuously identify and anticipate the candidate requirements on your desk.\nMaintain and increase our candidate database ensuring candidate contact frequency, spec calls and actions are delivered according to expectations.\nProject knowledge and industry insight within both client and candidates contact.\nOptimise digital platforms, including social media to establish new connections.\nExplore international talent opportunities as a client solution.\nImplement an achievable annual desk business plan to reflect sales growth revenue.\nEnsure overall achievement to your required daily, weekly, monthly, and annual productivity and sales targets for an exceptional fulfilment rate of candidate and client service levels.\nKeep up to date records across systems according to policy and procedures.\nObtain and retain food industry insight and keep up to date with current trends, industry challenges, relevant legislation, competitors, and local knowledge.\nAdhere to standards and processes related to compliance and appropriate legislation.\nReport to Permanent Head of Recruitment on improvements, findings, and terminated contracts monthly.\nNetwork to build business information that can be converted into commercial opportunities, including sharing temporary and interim opportunities with team members.\nManage complaints according to company policy in a professional and effective way.\nAdhere to company policies, procedures, and work protocols always.\nContribute to training colleagues as required.\nWhat we’re looking for in a Recruitment Consultant:\n You will be a successful recruiter from a sector that involves industry insight and have experience of building and managing a busy supply desk with a proven track record of working under pressure in a targeted environment. You will be able to demonstrate a previous role where you have had to be an attentive listener, build a rapport quickly, and engage with people to understand their needs. \n\n Skills\n\nEffectively time manage, multitask, prioritise, and plan a demanding workload; work towards set goals and meet deadlines.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nRapport building skills.\nHave knowledge and keep updated on the food sector market, understanding the regulated requirements and legislation.\nBe proactive and commercially astute.\nPossess excellent organisational and planning skills so that you achieve your desk targets and personal goals in an efficient way.\nBe able to deliver feedback in a diplomatic way.\nExcellent presentation skills.\nDesirable: Previous experience in food sector recruitment.
