Overview

Join to apply for the Homeowner Services Officer role at Abri Group. This is a permanent role based in the Western Peninsula office in Bracknell. The role supports and deputises for the Homeowner Services Officers by providing first point of contact for customers and delivering a seamless, knowledgeable service.

You will manage and oversee the processing of consents and applications in accordance with lease agreements and provide expert advice to customers. You will act as the lead and point of contact for all QLTA and Section 20 consultations, coordinating and producing documents in line with government legislation, and supporting the business with expert advice and training where required. You will also provide administrative support for the Homeowner Services team and collaborate with in-house and external solicitors on the processing of Landlord Management Packs in relation to the sale of leasehold and freehold properties.


Responsibilities

* Provide first point of contact for customers and support Homeowner Services Officers as needed.
* Manage and oversee processing of consents and applications per lease agreements.
* Lead and coordinate QLTA and Section 20 consultations; produce documents compliant with government legislation.
* Provide administrative support and collaborate with solicitors on Landlord Management Packs for property sales.


Qualifications and Experience

* Knowledge and experience in leasehold and shared ownership products, with understanding of relevant legislation (e.g., Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002; Landlord and Tenant Act).
* Experience applying Leasehold law related to Section 20 and QLTA consultations, assignments, consents, enfranchisement, lease extensions, breach of covenants, and service charges.
* Ability to handle difficult or sensitive situations in a calm, professional manner and use initiative to problem solve.


Knowledge, Skills and Experience

* Strong knowledge of leasehold and shared ownership, and related legislation.
* Experience advising customers and coordinating complex consultations.
