team in Hull. \n\nYou will be required to work from the office on a hybrid basis. \n\nAs a Mechanical Design Engineer you will join an experienced team to complete HVAC designs for Passivhaus Estates, modular buildings, solar farms, commercial, residential and industrial developments across the UK.
\n\nAs Mechanical Design Engineer you will be expected to complete detailed mechanical designs including heating, ventilation, domestic hot and cold water systems, air source heat pumps and air-conditioning using AutoCAD and Revit. \n\nYou will also be expected to complete 2D and 3D models, perform heat load calculations, thermal comfort modelling (TM52/TM59), IES energy modelling and digital twin simulation, duct sizing, pipe sizing, and equipment selection using relevant software (e.g. Revit, AutoCAD, HAP, or Elite).\n\nYou will also prepare and review mechanical drawings, schematics, simulations and technical specifications in accordance with building codes, sustainability goals, and project requirements.\n\nThe role will also involve;\n\n-Heating and cooling load assessments\n\n-Designing to BIM level 2 in accordance with British Standards PAS 1192-5.\n\n-Low-carbon system design (ASHPs, GSHPs, WSHPs, VRF/VRV)\n\n-Mechanical ventilation & heat recovery (MVHR)\n\n-Building Management System (BMS) integration\n\n- Attend internal external me...
