Key Responsibilities
* Lead, manage, and support staff to deliver exceptional standards of person-centred care.
* Ensure the home complies with all relevant legislation, including CQC and Health & Safety regulations.
* Maintain accurate care plans and records for all residents.
* Manage budgets, resources, and financial performance of the home.
* Recruit, train, and develop staff to maintain a motivated and effective team.
* Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and quality checks.
* Build strong relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders.
* Promote a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for residents and staff.
* Handle complaints and incidents in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Care Home Manager, Deputy Manager, or similar role within a care or residential home setting.
* In-depth understanding of CQC regulations and inspection processes.
* NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or working towards it).
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Compassionate and person-centred approach to care.
* Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
