The Macula Unit offers a full range of care for ophthalmology patients across Dorset and Hampshire. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to be trained as a technician specialising in ophthalmology.
In the role you will assist in providing the best possible care to patients with a wide range of ophthalmic conditions. You will be working in the macula suite, within the Eye Outpatient footprint, where we provide macula and retina planned and emergency ophthalmic procedures.
* Perform OCTs (Optical Coherence Tomography)
* Conduct vision tests
* Administer eye drops
* Measure intra‑ocular pressure
* Assist healthcare professionals with intravitreal injections
