Our client, a prominent player in the rail sector, is currently seeking a Programme Manager (Rail) for a long-term contract based around the Liverpool area. This is a hybrid position, requiring three days per week on-site, and falls outside of IR35. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead major rail infrastructure projects, for someone with experience in new station builds, station regeneration, or station upgrades. Key Responsibilities: Managing major rail infrastructure projects, with a focus on new station builds and station regeneration Coordinating and overseeing various projects within the programme to ensure timely and within-budget completion Building strong relationships with stakeholders and managing sub-contractors effectively Providing strategic direction and overseeing the implementation of all project activities Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards Conducting risk assessments and providing mitigation strategies for potential issues Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to achieve project goals Job Requirements: Experience in rail sector project management, particularly in new station builds, station regeneration, or modifications Background as a Senior Project Manager or Programme Manager on major rail infrastructure projects Experience working on rail over road projects is advantageous Proven track record in managing sub-contractors and strong stakehol...
