Thrive Group are seeking a dedicated and experienced new business sales professional from the powered access hire industry to work for our client based in Thirsk, North Yorkshire on a permanent basis.
About the role
* Promote the company's services and benefits to customers and maximise sales though face to face visits and cold calling.
* Manage an existing customer portfolio and target new business in accordance with depot targets.
* Work with the Depot Manager to retain and manage all customers and sites within an agreed sales area.
* Achieve revenue growth against depot budget and reactivate any dormant accounts.
* Carry out site surveys as required, aiding the customer in selecting the appropriate machine for the task.
* Build effective customer relationships, exceed customer service and expectations.
* Work to targets and exceed current sales figures.
* Generate new business within the Yorkshire and North East areas of England.
Skills Required
* Successful track record in new business in the rental sector.
* Previous background in new business sales in the powered access hire industry for equipment to work at height.
* Experience selling into the construction and domestic sectors.
* Excellent customer service skills both face to face and over the phone.
* Full UK driving licence category B.
