Youll have experience working in a workshop or logistics-based setting, enjoy being part of a team, and take pride in maintaining high safety and quality standards. Youll also be confident liaising with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient operations.
Key Requirements
Full, clean UK driving licence
Strong organisational and time management skills
Proven ability to communicate effectively and professionally at all levels
Comfortable working under pressure and to deadlines
Hands-on approach and willingness to be involved in workshop operations
Positive attitude and strong teamwork ethic
Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail
Competent in Microsoft Office and general data entry
Flexible approach to working hours
About the Opportunity
As a Cylinder Coordinator, youll support the delivery of cylinder services across our operations, with a focus on the handling, testing, and dispatch of rental and client-owned cylinders. Working closely with the Equipment and Cylinder Coordinator, youll help ensure our services meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Activities
Handle, clean, and leak-test cylinders in line with company procedures.
Safely load, offload, and store cylinders, ensuring accurate database tracking.
Prepare dispatch documentation and arrange timely client deliveries.
Carry out minor repairs and report additional maintenance needs.
Monitor certification status and coordinate re-certification when required.
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised workshop environment.
Manage spare parts stock to support efficient repairs.
Deliver excellent customer service and support client requirements.
Identify opportunities for process improvement or service enhancement.
Adhere to all QHSE standards, including ISO and COSHH requirements, and report any incidents or near misses.
