Role Overview
The Senior Copywriter/Marketer is a dual-function role responsible for both leading copywriting efforts and driving digital marketing initiatives. In collaboration with our small team, the individual will work to support a range of different clients, including our global technology clients in promoting their products and services and senior business leaders promoting their personal brands. The role requires a high degree of proficiency in copywriting, research, content strategy, and marketing skills.
The Senior Copywriter/Marketer is expected to deliver high-quality, data-driven, and insightful client copy across multiple formats with minimal oversight. This may involve gaining a deep understanding of a CEO's business, product, or industry, and positioning them as a thought leader in their field through compelling content and copywriting. The role also includes leading marketing campaigns and managing client engagements..
Key Responsibilities
Copywriting/Content Execution and Oversight
* Carry out the research, writing, and editing of copy across various formats, including web copy, articles, infographics, social media posts, email marketing, white papers, sales materials and video scripts for business leaders.
* Write clear, persuasive, and audience-tailored copy for a range of formats, including highly technical topics in B2B industries such as manufacturing technology, automotive, Industrial IIoT, hardware, software, education, finance and engineering.
* Ensure all content aligns with client goals, branding, and messaging guidelines while maintaining clarity and high quality.
* Take full ownership of copywriting tasks, from brief to delivery, adhering to deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
* Collaborate with design, marketing, and sales to integrate written content with visual assets for cohesive and compelling messaging in marketing campaigns.
* Follow internal processes for production, approval and editing.
Marketing Campaign Management
* Lead the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including Google Ads, email marketing campaigns, social media management and growth.
* Collaborate with the team to ensure alignment between marketing efforts and the clients marketing strategy.
* Manage and optimise marketing campaigns, leveraging analytics to track performance and make data-driven adjustments to improve results.
* Stay updated on industry trends and digital marketing best practices to continually enhance campaign effectiveness.
* Organising and attending client meetings, video shoots and producing performance reports.
Performance Expectations
* Lead content projects from brief to completion, ensuring clarity, quality, and alignment with client objectives.
* Produce high-quality, complex content on technical and B2B topics with minimal revisions required.
* Work directly with clients to provide strategic content and marketing recommendations while building strong, long-term relationships.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing deadlines, client needs, and team support responsibilities.
* Play a key role in shaping long-term content strategy for clients, contributing to innovation and thought leadership in marketing.
About you
* An expert-level writer with 4 years' professional experience – agency or in-house.
* Portfolio showing long-form thought leadership and sales-driven assets (case studies, decks, nurture emails).
* Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
* Significant work experience in B2B digital marketing.
* Familiar with B2B sales funnels and how content supports SDRs, AEs and marketing automation.
* Comfortable writing about technology, automotive, financial services and education (or hungry to learn fast).
* Positive can-do attitude, willing to get stuck in and meet tight deadlines, even if that means working late.
* Firm grasp of MS Office,, GoogleAds and email marketing software.
