About the role The scope and nature of the projects on which you’ll work will vary however, examples of duties/responsibilities include: Working on projects for top tier investment banking clients, developing your skillset through our training programmes along with on-the-job experience to become a Subject Matter Expert within areas of Investment Banking Working in hybrid setting either from our Belfast Service Delivery Centre or on client site Supporting dynamic teams working on a wide range of projects, e.g., Regulatory Change, Client Onboarding or Operational Change Engaging with stakeholders within the banks, preparing management information and maintaining project trackers to ensure that key, high profile projects remain on target and run smoothly Liaising with high profile and institutional clients, researching their queries around new legislation and formulating suitable responses Performing data analysis utilising the likes of Advanced Excel, some of the more technical projects may require SQL and Python etc. on key data related initiatives Working with legal documentation and negotiating contractual agreements with clients Supporting operational change projects to improve the bank’s processes Who are we looking for? Qualifications & Experience Degree in a Finance, Legal or STEM subject 1-3 years’ experience of working on investment banking projects, either directly for an investment bank, or working for a 3rd party providing consulting/outsourced services to an investment bank Experience in Project Management, Business Analysis or PMO roles would be beneficial Confident communicating with management/stakeholders, producing reports and helping manage project lifecycles with relevant industry tooling Data Analysis - Able to understand and analyze large amounts of data quickly and efficiently Strong MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) Knowledge of regulations or regulatory driven projects would be a huge bonus, but not essential (e.g. ISDA, IBOR, MiFID II, FRTB, EMIR etc.) Professional Skills Communication – advanced interpersonal & communication skills. Able to liaise confidently with senior stakeholders, either over the phone or via email Team player – able to work well within dynamic and goal-focused teams Process driven – able to become quickly proficient in new processes and systems Detail-focused – very strong attention to detail Multi-tasking – highly organized and able to balance various responsibilities simultaneously Professionally skeptical – able to identify and flag up anomalies for review Decision-making – strong decision-making in a fast-paced and pressurized environment Commitment – strong work ethic and delivery focused Why Treliant?
