Sideloader Operator Cargo, Carlisle, CA6 4BA Rotating Shift Pattern (40 hrs per week) Full-time / permanent We are currently recruiting for Sideloader Operator to join our team within our Sawn Timber Yard at our Carlisle mill. As a Sideloader Operator, you will be responsible for a variety of duties across the yard, working both within a team and individually. Specifically, some responsibilities of a Mobile Plant Operator may include: Movement of sawn timber from sawmill to stock locations around the site. Operation of a Side Loader & other mobile plant vehicles. Scanning timber packs to determine stock and log positions. About you: We are looking for motivated and hardworking individuals who are focussed and have the ability to meet deadlines. In addition, you’ll have; Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Good organisational skills and attention to detail. An appreciation of quality and Health & Safety. Willingness to undertake all relevant training required to fulfil the role. Experience operating mobile plant would be preferred but is not essential as full training is provided. Experience within a manufacturing, or similar production environment, would be advantageous. Full driving license.
