Pick and Packing Assistant –
Location: Yalberton Industrial Estate, Paignton
Contract: Temporary, 6 weeks (potential to become permanent)
Shift: Sunday 8:30am – 2:00pm (overtime available during the week as required)
Are you passionate about houseplants and keen to work with a friendly, close-knit team? is looking for a Pick and Packing Assistant to join us at our Yalberton Industrial Estate base.
About the Role:
You'll play a key part in our day-to-day operations, ensuring our beautiful houseplants are carefully picked, packed, and sent out to our customers in perfect condition. Your main duties will include:
* Picking and packing customer orders with care and attention
* Helping to care for our plants and maintain their health
* Carrying out quality control checks to ensure our plants and packaging meet our high standards
* Assisting with incoming deliveries and stock management
* Working under pressure to ensure courier collection deadlines are met
About You:
* You have a genuine interest in houseplants and a basic knowledge of their care (don't worry, nobody knows everything about plants – we're all learning together)
* You're reliable, enthusiastic, and happy to muck in as part of a supportive team
* You take pride in your work and have great attention to detail
* You can stay calm and organised when things get busy, ensuring deadlines are met

Pay:
* Pay is in line with the National Living Wage and age dependant.
