💰 Pay: £28,000 – £30,000 pa (D.O.E)
🕒 Hours: Full time – Monday to Friday.

Driver Hire Inverness are recruiting for a full-time assistant to join the team in Inverness. This is a busy customer-facing role combining trade counter duties, sales support, and office administration. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers both in‑branch and over the phone, offering product advice, preparing quotes, processing orders, and supporting the wider sales team. This position is offered on a temp-to-perm basis, with the intention of becoming a permanent role after a successful probationary period.

✅ What We Offer:

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Handling customer enquiries at the trade counter and over the phone
2. Providing product advice, quotes, and excellent customer service
3. Processing sales orders, purchase orders, invoices and all general admin
4. Supporting the external sales team with admin, quotes, and lead follow‑up
5. Maintaining accurate sales records and using internal systems efficiently
6. Working closely with the warehouse team to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
7. Assisting with stock movements, including loading/unloading when required
8. General office duties including filing, record‑keeping and system updates

9. Experience in sales support, customer service or a trade counter environment
10. Excellent customer service skills and confidence in a customer‑facing role
11. Strong IT skills with good attention to detail and numeracy
12. Proactive, helpful attitude with the ability to multitask in a busy environment
13. Flexibility to support both office and warehouse needs when required
