About The Role
HC-One is seeking a Maintenance Operative with solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning, and housekeeping. Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is required, along with ideally some IT skills. You should be considerate and kind when communicating with residents and co-workers.
As a Maintenance Operative, your responsibility is to ensure our residents live in a proactively inspected and well-maintained environment. You will carry out audits, keep records up to date, and perform tasks such as replacing taps, fitting extractor fans, repairing windows, or decorating, always with kindness.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the procedures for reporting concerns. Attendance at safeguarding training is mandatory, along with additional role-specific training. You should be able to seek advice and escalate concerns when necessary.
