Role Overview
Due to continued growth, there is an opportunity for an Audit Senior to join the Audit team based in Oxford. This is a permanent role, available on a full-time or part-time basis, with hybrid and flexible working options.
Requirements
1. ACCA/ACA qualified or nearly qualified
2. Minimum 3 years’ UK audit practice experience (accounts experience also required)
3. Degree preferred (2:1 or above) or minimum 3 A-Levels (A, B, B or above)
4. Experience with Xero, Sage, Caseware, and CCH advantageous
5. Fluent in English with strong written and verbalmunication skills
6. Exceptional attention to detail
7. Strong IT skills, particularly Excel, and ability to learn new systems quickly
8. Positive, confident, and proactive attitude
9. Ability to create a strong impression with clients and colleagues
10. Skilled at prioritizing and meeting deadlines with high-quality output
11. Team-oriented and self-motivated
Key Responsibilities
12. Lead a variety of audit assignments across multiple sectors, liaising with managers and partners as required
13. Prepare audit files, undertake audit planning, and lead/assist with fieldwork
14. Allocate work and supervise junior team members, providing support, training, and reviewing their work
15. Ensure audits arepleted to a high standard, on time, and within agreed budgets
16. Review jobspleted by less senior staff
17. Use accounting software to produce accurate reports for managers, directors, and clients
18. Prepare statutory accounts and finalize accounts under supervision
19. Prepare corporation taxputations
20. Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of industry and economic issues
21. Contribute to pricing and assist with new client quotes
22. Build productive working relationships internally and with clients
23. Develop technical knowledge through on-the-job training
