The Borgen Project is an international organization working at the political level to improve living conditions for those impacted by war, famine, and poverty. With 20 years of advocacy experience, it has supported bills benefitting nearly 500 million people in developing countries.
PR/Marketing Programme is a part-time, unpaid, remote role, requiring 12 hours per week for 12 weeks. If your availability is limited, you can work ahead and complete the programme sooner.
The role includes:
* Creating a branding campaign
* Conducting focus groups and gathering feedback for market research
* Pitching story ideas to media outlets
* Creating and implementing fundraising strategies
* Planning, marketing, and presenting at informational meetings
* Utilizing social media and developing web messaging strategies
* Assisting with advocacy efforts
Experience: No prior experience necessary. We seek passionate individuals committed to fighting poverty, regardless of background or GPA.
Details: This is an unpaid programme; college credit may be available.
Start Date: New programmes start monthly. You may choose your start month.
