About the Role
We are recruiting an experienced Care Team Leader (Nights) to join a luxury, family-run 35-bed residential and dementia care home set within three acres of beautiful Surrey countryside.
This elegant 1920s country house provides long-term residential and specialist dementia care for people aged 65 and above. In addition to permanent care, the service also offers respite, convalescent and day care, making it a well-regarded and trusted part of the local community.
Occupying an elevated position, the home enjoys remarkable countryside views while remaining conveniently located just two miles from Guildford town centre, allowing residents to stay connected with community life.
The original building has been thoughtfully converted, retaining charming period features. Bedrooms are light, airy and en-suite, overlooking landscaped gardens and surrounding countryside. Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms, supporting a genuine home-from-home environment.
As a Care Team Leader on nights (37.5 hours per week), you will oversee the smooth running of the shift and act as the senior point of contact throughout the night. You will lead by example, ensuring residents feel safe, comfortable and respected while supporting your team to deliver exceptional, person-centred care aligned with the home’s philosophy of dignity, independence, privacy and freedom of choice.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate the night care team
Deliver high-quality, person-centred care
Administer medication (training provided if required)
Ensure accurate care plans and documentation are maintained
Conduct regular night checks to promote safety and comfort
Act as the senior point of contact during the night shift
Candidate Requirements
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
Medication training (desirable)
Previous experience in a senior or team leader role
Confident working independently on night shifts
Strong communication and leadership skills
A genuine passion for supporting older people
