We are currently working on a great new opportunity for a Days only Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business in South Nottingham. This is a new position, and as the mechanical iMaintenance Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of site equipment, and facilities to support Production, Warehouse, and Quality operations. The role involves a mix of hands-on repairs and coordination with external contractors, depending on service agreements in place. Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30, early finish on a Friday (some flex on start / finish times) Key Responsibilities of Maintenance Engineer: Carry out mechanical maintenance and repairs across the site including carpentry, plumbing, hydrualic, pneumatic, and general facilities Manage contractor work where applicable, depending on equipment service contracts Perform preventative maintenance (PPM) and ensure plant equipment runs efficiently Candidate Requirements for Maintenance Engineer: Minimum 5 years' experience in equipment maintenance within a manufacturing setting Strong mechanical skill set; experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, CNC machines, and control circuits is highly desirable Comfortable with a broad range of tasks, from basic facility upkeep to more technical troubleshooting Ability to read mechanical/electrical schematics Vocational training or relevant certifications are ideal Package: Salary: Approx. £35k 5% Bonus scheme Onsite gym, free parking, subsidised canteen, Plus more perks !
