Overview
As a Customer Team Leader, youll be part of a friendly team thats dedicated to helping our customers. Well look to you to help lead the store team - coaching and supervising our Customer Team Members and deputising for the Store Manager, while also delivering great customer service and performing a wide range of other tasks around the store like re-stocking shelves and cleaning up spillages.

What you\ll do
* Friendly and thoughtful service - youll give friendly, welcoming, easy, helpful and thoughtful service every day, often taking ownership for managing the store and handling challenging situations
* Develop your teams capabilities through coaching and training, fostering an inclusive culture where everyones voice is valued and respected
* Make sure that the store remains safe, legal, and fully operational
* Manage diligence checks and stock accuracy to make shopping a great experience for our customers
* Support your store manager by deputising when theyre not working and delivering a variety of HR processes
* Lead the way when introducing new products and services in your store - work closely with your team to implement change and encourage open and honest feedback
* Build relationships and get involved in your local community, supporting your Store Manager with the delivery of the local Co-op community plan
The ability to strike a balance between leading and supporting your team and rolling up your sleeves on the shop floor
* Great people skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
* A desire to learn, grow and develop your leadership skills
* The flexibility to work a range of different shifts
Pay: £13.99 per hour
Contract: 20 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent, part time
Working pattern: varied shifts including afternoons, late evenings (store closing) and weekends, to be discussed at interview
