You’ll teach across a dynamic mix of Vocational IT, Computing, Esports, and the T Level Digital programme, helping students develop industry-relevant technical skills, digital literacy, and an understanding of the fast-evolving tech and esports sectors. You may also contribute to Higher Education (HE) computing provision, supporting learners progressing to advanced study and careers in the digital industry.
You’ll plan and deliver engaging, practical lessons, assess progress, and contribute to a forward-thinking department where innovation, employability, and real-world application are central to teaching and learning.
What you’ll do
* Teach across Vocational IT, Computing, and Esports programmes
* Deliver content within the T Level Digital qualification
* Contribute to HE computing provision where required
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop students’ technical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
* Assess student progress and provide timely, targeted feedback
* Support students to achieve strong outcomes and progress to higher education or employment in digital industries
* Contribute to curriculum development, keeping content aligned with industry trends and technologies
* Act as a personal tutor, supporting students' academic progress, wellbeing, and progression
* Contribute to recruitment and marketing activities, including open evenings, taster sessions, and school liaison
What you’ll bring
* Strong subject knowledge in Computing, IT, Esports, or a related field
* Experience of teaching post‑16 or a willingness to develop in this area
* Understanding of current digital technologies, software, and industry practices
* Ability to motivate and engage a diverse range of learners
* Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning

Essentials
* Degree in Computing, IT, Digital Technologies, Esports, or a related subject
* Teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent), or willingness to work towards one
* GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent)
* Right to work in the UK
