AmeyBriggs is a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions for the Construction Plant and MHE within the MOD. The AmeyBriggs 3-year Apprentice Engineer training programme offers you the opportunity to become a fully qualified Forklift Truck & Powered Access Engineer. Briggs Equipment Group Engineers fault find, maintain, service and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems across a range of Materials Handling and Powered Access Equipment.

The Impact you will have:
* Complete a 3-year apprenticeship: Level 3 Lift Truck and Powered Access Engineering Technician standard.
* Gain on-the-job experience, starting with shadowing mentors and progressing to performing tasks under supervision, then alongside qualified Engineers with work checked and signed off.
* Work will be carried out on customer premises and at AmeyBriggs workshop locations within your region.
What will help you to excel in this role:
* 3 GCSEs at grade 4 / C or Scottish National 5 Grade C or above in English, Science, and Mathematics (or equivalent) – desirable.
* Enthusiasm for engineering, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic aspects—hobbies, work, or voluntary experience related to maintenance/repair, or topics studied at school/college.
* Basic IT skills such as email, websites, and text documents.
* Clear, polite, and professional communication skills, both verbal and written, to work effectively with mentors, line managers, customers, and team members.
