The Role
We are seeking an experienced Wool Grader to join our team in Salts Mill. This is a hands-on role involving grading, traceability and working within certified supply chains.
Key Responsibilities
* Grade wool into 100+ classifications based on fibre characteristics
* Maintain full fleece traceability using internal systems
* Work within multiple certification schemes (e.g. RWS, Organic, Regen, Red Tractor)
* Handle stock manually and via forklift
* Operate hydraulic wool press
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 2 years' wool grading experience
* Full UK driving licence
* Forklift licence (training provided if required)
* Good IT skills (stock systems, email, Excel)
* Positive, practical and team-focused attitude
