To support customer demand, we are currently seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver at our Holmewood depot. Shift Available: Monday - Friday working on Nights Rate of pay: £15.01 per hour for hours worked up to 39 hours each week, plus £55.00 per week night shift allowance. Any hours worked over 39 hours each week, will be paid at time and a half. Duties and Responsibilities - Ensure the vehicle is legal and roadworthy at all times - all daily checks are completed, and any vehicle defects are reported - Ensure the correct goods have been loaded and are secure before moving the vehicle - Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries in a timely manner and in accordance with the law (including drivers working time regulations) - Double check deliveries with the customer whilst providing a polite and helpful experience.
