The Role We are looking for a Project Payroll Advisor to support the payroll team during a period of transformation. This role is key to maintaining accurate and timely payroll operations, while helping streamline processes, document procedures, and support system improvements. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end payroll delivery, ensuring accuracy and compliance Assist with payroll transition and system alignment projects Collaborate with business sites to identify challenges and implement process enhancements Develop and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) Support training for the payroll team on updated processes Assist with testing, parallel runs, and process improvement initiatives Skills & Experience Relevant payroll qualification (CIPP preferred) or equivalent hands-on experience Deep knowledge of UK payroll and pension regulations, with a focus on compliance Experience in payroll projects, transitions, or system migrations Strong Workday payroll experience and advanced Excel/IT skills Effective communicator and team player, able to build strong working relationships Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, with excellent attention to detail Experience in payroll reconciliations and improving payroll processes Interested?
