Overview:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Release Train Engineer (RTE) to support a critical integration programme within our banking client’s transformation journey. This maternity cover role will focus on managing the integration workstreams for a new Treasury Management System in a SaaS environment, with a strong emphasis on governance, sequencing, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and coordinate two integration trains focused on credit risk reporting/modelling and treasury modelling.
* Own and manage the cutover and sequencing plans for systems integration across multiple platforms.
* Ensure strict governance and compliance with regulatory standards, particularly around liquidity reporting and thin rep.
* Collaborate with SMEs to support technical challenges, while maintaining a strong understanding of data flows and integration architecture.
* Translate complex technical requirements into clear, actionable plans for stakeholders across business and technology.
* Produce and maintain progress reports, RAID logs, and delivery metrics using Jira and Confluence.
* Drive roadmap alignment and ensure milestones are met across the integration lifecycle.
* Support the development of a new ecosystem from scratch, contributing to the scale and structure of the transformation programme.
* Engage with the Guild community to share best practices and foster continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience as a Release Train Engineer, Integration Manager, or Agile Delivery Lead in large-scale banking or financial services programmes.
* Strong understanding of systems integration, data flows, and regulatory reporting requirements.
* Experience working in a SaaS environment, ideally with treasury or risk systems.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage heavy administrative tasks and documentation.
* Proficient in Jira, with the ability to interpret and report on delivery metrics.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
* Familiarity with Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe) and programme governance structures.
Desirable:
* Experience with Workday, Treasury Management Systems, or similar platforms.
* Knowledge of liquidity reporting, credit risk modelling, and regulatory frameworks.
* Background in data management or data architecture.
