About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the HR Systems and Reporting team as the Senior HESA Data Analyst. The role will develop and improve the University’s collation of information for the staff Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) return, working with colleagues across HR and planning to ensure accurate data collection. You will be an analytical self‑starter interested in solving problems, finding trends and providing insight. The role is part of the HR System Implementation project.
Responsibilities:
* Managing the collection of data for statutory returns, including HESA.
* Improving the process and quality of the data.
* Running and submitting the return.
* Analysing the data for trends, insights and benchmarking.
* Supporting the HR System Implementation project where needed.
About You
As an analytical self‑starter you will be interested in solving problems, finding trends and providing insight. With effective planning and organisational skills you will be able to manage your own workload and use your knowledge/experience of the HESA staff return or other similar returns to complete the return accurately and on time.
