An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Charge Nurse to manage and lead the nursing team within the Intensive Care Unit within our Critical care Department at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital. You will carry 24 hours continuing responsibility for the unit and will provide clinical leadership to the nursing team to ensure safe and effective clinical practice, enhance the patient's experience of care and manage and develop the performance of the team. It is essential you are a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration, have evidence of continuing professional development and be educated to degree level or working towards. You should have substantial post registration experience of working within the critical setting and have worked in leadership or management capacity within a team. It would also be desirable to have experience working within the field of cardio-thoracic surgery. We are looking for an extremely motivated individual who is experienced in people management, service improvement and change management.
