About the Role
This is a hybrid role based in our London office (EC1Y 8LZ), 3 days per week. We are looking for a detail‑oriented lawyer to review and draft agreements, advise on new product offerings, manage our vendor ecosystem and support litigation matters. The role is ideal for a qualified lawyer with 1–2 years of relevant legal experience who wants to work in a fast‑paced, highly regulated FinTech environment.
Responsibilities
* Draft and negotiate vendor agreements and maintain customer‑facing terms and conditions for new products and product changes.
* Manage a small‑claims portfolio and coordinate with external counsel, while collaborating with Customer Operations to identify and resolve recurring legal friction points.
* Provide practical legal input throughout the product lifecycle, from design to go‑to‑market communications.
* Stay ahead of regulatory shifts and help create internal policies, training, and processes to support a growing legal function.
Qualifications
* Qualified lawyer with a current practising certificate.
* 1–2 years of post‑qualification experience, preferably within a top‑tier law firm or FinTech environment.
* Strong foundational skills in contract law and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal risks to non‑legal stakeholders.
* Team player who can collaborate with Growth, Product, and Operations to provide practical, business‑focused legal advice.
* Adaptability and comfort working in a fast‑moving environment where priorities shift.
