Job Purpose

Social Work with Families handles cases involving child protection plans, children in need, and Children Looked After, including those in Public Law Outline or Court proceedings. You will work within a small Locality service alongside your Team Manager, Business Support Officer, and colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for children and families in Croydon.

Essential Requirements
We seek confident, qualified social workers registered with Social Work England, who have completed their ASYE and can demonstrate:
* Ability to build relationships to create change
* Strengths-based approach with families
* Experience managing complex cases
* Representation of children in court with empathy and professionalism
* Experience in a statutory setting is desirable but not essential
* Ability to work with multi-agency partnerships and understand thresholds of need
* Strong analytical and writing skills, incorporating systemic practice
* Effective time management skills
