Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support planning and development assignments, ensuring timely delivery to a high standard.

Develop and manage strong client relationships, particularly within the public sector, including the Ministry of Justice.
*
Identify and secure new business opportunities across the region by leveraging existing client networks and market knowledge.
*
Collaborate closely with colleagues across multiple departments and regions to provide joined:up, multi:disciplinary advice.
*
Act as a key point of contact for clients and provide commercially focused planning advice on a wide range of development schemes.
*
Take an active role in internal business development initiatives and planning strategies, helping to drive the teams future growth.
*
Supervise junior team members and contribute to their ongoing professional development.
Candidate Profile:
*
MRTPI qualified with a relevant planning degree.
*
Minimum 3:5 years of post:qualification experience in planning, ideally within consultancy or a client:facing environment.
*
Strong technical competence in relevant planning sectors and a deep understanding of the Midlands market.
*
Demonstrated ability to manage clients, lead project teams, and generate new business.
*
Commercial awareness and an understanding of the broader real estate landscape.
*
Excellent communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
*
Strong team player with a proactive and ambitious mindset.
