Fire & Security Technician role at City Facilities Management Holdings Ltd
Location: Falkirk
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm, 42.5 hours per week (1 week in 4 on standby)
Job purpose
To be the technical specialist for designated stores responsible for undertaking first call response to Fire, CCTV, EAS, Access Control, PA, Automatic Pedestrian Gates.
Key responsibilities
* Undertake maintenance and repairs in accordance with KPI’s set by the customer including, but not limited to response, repair, first fix, and closure.
* Ensure all planned, reactive and statutory works designated to a CCTV engineer are carried out in accordance with contractual obligations as set out in the City FM Bookcase.
* Complete the PPM works within agreed timescales and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures and satisfactory standards.
* Respond promptly to service call requests from the Helpdesk during normal hours and when on call. Out of hours will be referred to the specialist in the first instance.
* Identify non-repairable faults in equipment and propose corrective course of action.
* Order parts where required in line with Company Procedures, ensure prompt fitment on delivery and chase outstanding parts not delivered within 5 days.
* Comply with any other reasonable request or instruction from the City Management Team.
Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications
* Electrical Competency Qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds)
* Ability to maintain and repair a range of Fire, CCTV products and specific EAS systems (Sensormatic)
* CCTV IP/analogue systems
