UK Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Lead
We are searching for a UK DEI Lead to make a positive impact on our UK employee experience. Join us in our mission to serve patients worldwide and improve lives!
WHAT IS YOUR JOB PURPOSE?
Based in London, reporting to the UK Country Head, you will drive GSK’s UK DEI agenda by understanding and anticipating internal and external DEI trends, identifying challenges and opportunities. Using your expertise and data insights, you will develop impactful DEI programs, collaborating with global and US teams and internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality initiatives aligned with GSK’s DEI ambitions.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
1. Oversee the UK DEI strategy, working with organizational leaders to develop and implement DEI programs, including Project Search, a program supporting young people with disabilities transitioning from education to work, and leading efforts for DEI accreditation submissions and awards ceremonies.
2. Stay current on DEI trends and concepts, conducting deep dives into areas like neurodiversity, social mobility, pregnancy loss, and menopause, leading to new policies and guidance.
3. Partner with HR and recruitment teams to support DEI initiatives, including data collection campaigns, talent pipeline development, policy reviews, and inclusive recruitment processes.
4. Collaborate with Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) across the UK, managing budgets, promoting intersectional approaches, and leading a DEI community of practice.
5. Represent GSK externally, advising on disability practices and schemes like Disability Confident.
6. Utilize data tools to analyze internal DEI activities, providing regular insights and reports.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
* Experience in DEI roles within large, matrixed, cross-cultural organizations.
* Degree or equivalent experience.
* Recognized DEI expertise with strong external networks and credibility.
* Ability to translate business needs and emerging concepts into actionable DEI solutions, with measurable targets.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate at all levels.
* Proficiency in analyzing complex DEI data and translating it into strategic narratives.
WHY GSK?

We are an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusion, and adhere to affirmative action principles in the US. We support flexible working arrangements and encourage applicants to discuss opportunities with our hiring team.
