Team Leader - Halifax
Hours: Full time (37 hours per week) Monday to Friday
Salary: Band 5B £34,839 - £36,763
Contract: Permanent
Location: Halifax - there may be a requirement to work from our other offices or attend any
HOMEs properties in Kirklees, Wakefield and Calderdale.
An exciting vacancy has arisen to work within the HOMEs team. We are seeking an enthusiastic
and experienced Team Leader to oversee our Supported Accommodation Service in
Calderdale. You will manage a team of staff who provide one to one support, housing
management and property maintenance ensuring an effective and compliant service to all our
residents.
Fusion HOMEs manage properties in Kirklees, Calderdale & Wakefield and provide temporary
housing for single people and families who are either homeless or at risk of homelessness. In
this role, you'll lead a team your team to ensure that each person we support has a tailored plan
that promotes their independence, dignity, wellbeing and reduces barriers to finding long term
suitable independent accommodation. You'll be a visible and approachable leader, motivating
your team to deliver outstanding outcomes and continuously improve.
We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Team Leader who can successfully
manage the daily tasks within a supported accommodation setting.
Applicants must have knowledge/experience of:
* Managing the day-to-day operations of the Support Services team.
* Overseeing support plans, risk assessments, and move-on plans.
* Actively engaging with beneficiaries, including those who may be harder to reach.
* Building strong relationships with statutory, voluntary, and community partners.
* Supporting your team's professional development, from recruitment and induction to
coaching and performance management.
* Holding a small caseload of key clients.
