We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Teacher to join one of our partner schools in the Wolverhampton area. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to inspiring students through creative and engaging dance lessons.
The ideal candidate will have strong dance skills, excellent classroom management, and a genuine passion for nurturing students’ confidence and artistic development. Whether you’re seeking full-time or part-time work, we’re flexible and keen to find the right fit for both teacher and school.
Key Details:
* Position: Dance Teacher
* Location: Wolverhampton and surrounding areas
* Contract Type: Full-time or Part-time (flexible)
* Salary: Competitive, based on experience and responsibilities
Role Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive dance lessons to secondary pupils
* Encourage creativity, expression, and physical fitness through dance
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
* Foster a positive and supportive learning environment
* Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to extra-curricular dance activities or performances
* Maintain high standards of behaviour and respect within the classroom
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant dance teaching qualifications
* Proven experience teaching dance at secondary level (KS3/KS4; KS5 desirable)
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* A flexible and proactive approach to teaching
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
