About the Role:
Our client, a bespoke property developer, is seeking a Contracts Manager to help deliver a small portfolio of high value conversion projects (residential) which will involve working on listed buildings. This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring high-quality construction, on-time delivery, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Oversee the full lifecycle of construction projects, from pre-start to handover.
 * Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
 * Manage and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
 * Maintain strong health and safety compliance across all construction activities.
 * Drive site productivity and efficiency while mitigating potential risks.
 * Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including technical, commercial, and customer service teams.
 * Conduct regular site inspections and implement corrective actions where necessary.
 * Lead and develop site management teams to ensure optimal performance.
 * Providing full support to the Regional Construction Director
Candidate Requirements:
 * Proven experience in a senior construction role within property development with a focus on working on conversations + refurbishments.
 * Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and health & safety requirements.
 * Excellent leadership and team management skills.
 * Ability to drive projects forward while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.
 * Commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets effectively.
 * Relevant construction qualifications.
