The Fix Creative are working with a brand new client, pushing the boundaries of product design in soft furnishings, homeware/table wear, textiles in the hospitality sector, we are looking for a Mid Weight Product Designer who is all about aesthetic styling, how products are made and the structural aspect.
Ideally we are looking for someone who can get into the office 5 days a week but for someone perfect and exceptional they would maybe look at 4 days in per week and 1 from home.
You will be thinking of the functionality and sustainability of the materials and have a premium feel to your portfolio
Midweight Product Designer — Hospitality/Aviation Innovation
The Fix Creative are teaming up with an exciting new client shaking up the hospitality world — and we’re on the hunt for a Midweight Product Designer who’s obsessed with aesthetics, structure, and how beautiful ideas come to life.
You’ll be hands-on from concept to creation — sketching, prototyping, testing, and refining designs that are functional, sustainable, and downright gorgeous. Whether it’s physical or digital, you’ll make sure every product feels premium and performs beautifully.
What you’ll do:
• Dream up and develop new product ideas from concept to manufacture
• Turn insights and research into stunning, user-friendly designs
• Collaborate with engineers and makers to bring your ideas to life
• Prototype, test, and refine until it’s just right
• Keep products sustainable, on-budget, and market-ready
• Stay ahead of design and material trends (especially in hospitality & aviation)
What you’ll bring:
• 2–3 years’ experience in product or industrial design
• A portfolio packed with creative, well-crafted work
• Confidence with tools like Rhino, Keyshot, and Adobe CC
• A love for materials, structure, and sustainability
• Great communication and collaboration chops
Bonus points for:
Experience designing tableware, soft goods, or hospitality products — and an eye for what makes a product feel premium.
Location: Full-time, in-house.
