We are seeking a passionate and creative Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and arranging floral displays for various occasions, ensuring high-quality presentation and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
* Designing and creating floral arrangements for events, retail displays, and bespoke orders
* Assisting customers with selecting flowers and providing expert advice on floral care and maintenance
* Managing stock levels of flowers, foliage, and floral accessories, including ordering supplies as needed
* Organising the display of flowers within the shop to maximise visual appeal and sales potential
* Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including tools and storage spaces
* Providing excellent customer service through clear communication in multiple languages if applicable
* Keeping up-to-date with current floral trends and horticultural practices to enhance creative offerings
Requirements
* Previous experience in floristry or horticulture is preferred but not essential; training can be provided for the right candidate.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and team members
* Organisational skills to manage multiple orders and maintain stock efficiently
* Knowledge of gardening, horticulture, or plant care is advantageous
* Passion for floral design with an eye for colour, composition, and detail
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining high standards of quality
