Overview Our client are seeking several skilled and versatile Labourer (Multi Skilled) to join their construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various trades and be capable of working on diverse projects including carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, roofing work etc. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
Assisting with construction tasks across multiple trades such as carpentry, roofing, masonry, and plumbing
Operating hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to carry out assigned duties
Supporting the installation, repair, and maintenance of structures and systems
Preparing work sites by cleaning and setting up materials and equipment
Assisting with fabrication tasks as required on-site
Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations
Collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently and to high standards
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment at all times
Qualifications
Proven experience in construction-related roles with skills in carpentry, roofing, masonry, roofing, or electrical work preferred
Competence in using hand tools and power tools safely
Ability to read technical drawings or plans is a plus
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Good physical fitness with the ability to perform manual labour in various weather conditions
Relevant certifications or licences (e.g., CSCS card) are desirable but not essential
Must have a full UK driving licence and own transport to get to and from the sites
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks within the construction industry
