Join our client’s vibrant and expanding accountancy practice based in Stoke-on-Trent! They are looking for a committed and detail-driven Bookkeeper to become a key part of their team. Responsibilities:
• VAT Returns: Prepare and submit accurate VAT returns for a varied client base.
• Bookkeeping: Maintain precise financial records, process transactions, and complete account reconciliations.
• Management Accounts: Support the production of timely, compliant management accounts.
• Client Portfolio Management: Oversee your own client portfolio, ensuring regular communication and adherence to deadlines.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Experience working within an accountancy practice.
• Solid background in VAT, bookkeeping, and management accounts.
• Exceptional attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Confident using accounting software and digital tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Relevant accounting qualifications are advantageous.
