The role
As a Learning and Development Business Partner, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You'll play a crucial role in driving the organisation’s learning culture by seamlessly integrating strategic business goals with effective training solutions.
Day-to-day, you’ll ensure alignment with group governance, processes, and policies while delivering efficient and impactful learning solutions within designated budgets and timelines. Additionally, you will:
1. Partner with senior leaders and stakeholders to identify learning needs across the sector.
2. Implement an annual training cycle to forecast demand and costs aligned to priorities and business plans.
3. Communicate the training plan; explain how this relates to the sector’s strategy and the broader organisation’s mission and vision; motivate people to achieve local business goals.
4. Design and implement learning strategies that align with organisational goals and promote growth.
5. Build relationships across departments to understand business challenges and provide learning solutions.
This role is full time, 36 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.
Essential experience of the Learning and Development Business Partner
6. Proven experience relevant to Learning and Development
7. Experience in developing and delivering learning and development strategy and planning
8. Excellent commercial and business acumen
9. Strong relationship-building, stakeholder management, interpersonal and influencing skills
10. A structured and systematic approach with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise multiple competing requirements to meet service levels and business needs
Qualifications for the Learning and Development Business Partner
11. Degree-level qualification relevant to Learning and Development - desirable
12. Appropriate HR Qualification and/or professional chartership - desirable
