Job Title: Assistant Ministry Partnerships Manager
Salary: £28,800 - £37,425
Location: Cambridge UK/Hybrid (minimum 2 days per week from the office)
Contract: Permanent, Full time - 35 hours per week

About the role
As Assistant Ministry Partnerships Manager, you will work with a variety of Cambridge University Press & Assessment departments to deliver services to a number of partners and clients including Government Ministries, Examination Boards, and Assessment Specialists/Service Providers.
Key accountabilities
* Develop project plans, costings, and progress reports to support contract delivery and monitoring.
* Independently manage small projects and contribute to major contracts alongside the Ministry Partnerships Manager.
* Oversee contract execution, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery within budget and agreed parameters.
* Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships through direct communication, training coordination, and annual review meetings.
* Handle risk assessment, resource management, financial tracking, and document systems to support effective contract operations.
About you
You will ideally have experience or a keen interest in education particularly in assessment and be comfortable working in international environments with clients and colleagues from varied cultural backgrounds. A proactive mindset, strong customer service skills, and the ability to take initiative and hold others to account are essential to thrive in this role.
You will bring cultural sensitivity and a strong awareness of international education. Your understanding of diverse educational contexts will be key to building meaningful relationships across global partnerships.
Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—are a must, along with a sharp eye for detail and solid numerical abilities. You should be confident using standard office tools like MS Teams, Word, and Excel, and have some experience in financial management to support contract delivery and reporting.
