Due to increasing demand, we have vacancies for a Fitter’s Mate to join our busy site in Sheffield. Duties include:- Weekly site machinery inspections Upkeep and maintenance of all plant machinery and equipment Carrying out planned maintenance checks Emergency breakdowns and repairs Daily troubleshooting Controlling breakdown / repair documentation Skills Required Mechanical engineering knowledge, electrical knowledge would be desirable but not mandatory. This position entails Generous salary with overtime rates paid at time and a third in the week, ‘a half’ on Saturdays and double time for Sundays, plus a company contribution pension scheme. There will be the opportunity to increase earnings by extending individual skill sets of which weekly bonuses will be paid as you progress.
