Robert Half are working in partnership with a well recognised, forward thinking company in Swindon to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join their finance team on a full-time permanent basis. This is a brilliant opportunity that will cover a broad range of duties such as bank reconciliations, cash flow forecasting and reporting, as well as balance sheet management. The Assistant Accountant role is a great opportunity for someone that is studying towards AAT/CIMA/ACCA or someone that is qualified by experience that is looking for a new challenge. The salary is between £30,000 - £34,000 plus study supporting, hybrid working and an annual bonus.
The Role
The main duties of the Assistant Accountant role will consist of:
* Bank reconciliations
* Cash flow forecasting
* Cash flow reporting
* Balance sheet management
* Reconciling transactions
* Monitoring/maintaining bank accounts
* Supporting with finance related projects on an adhoc basis
Requirements
To be considered for the Assistant Accountant, you must ideally possess the following skills/experience:
* Must have experience dealing with cash/banking or payments/transactions.
* AAT/CIMA/ACCA studier or qualified by experience.
* Good attention to detail
* Good team player
* Excellent communicator
* Highly organised
* Confident user of Excel
