We are looking for an Senior InfrastructureEngineer to come and join our Infrastructure Team, who will be responsible forthe implementation, support, and maintenance of all existing and futureinfrastructure at a client site in Newport, South Wales.
What you'll be doing:
You willbe responsible for alignment of all IT infrastructure aspects at the site inaccordance with a unified approach. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment with constantchange, delivering Infrastructure projects and working in a daily operationsenvironment too. You will be joining a very experienced team, who work in anagile fashion, working together and tackling BAU and projects head on as acollective, whilst maintaining a relaxed and fun workplace.
What you’ll bring:
1. Knowledge of Wintel computer hardware & operating systems (Windows 2012, 2016, 2019).
2. Virtualisation, VMware ESXi, including vSphere Compliance and right sizing.
3. Windows DNS & DHCP, with a good understanding of both principles.
4. TCP/IP troubleshooting skills.
5. Active Directory, Group Policy and Scripting Knowledge.
6. Windows Server patching using WSUS and SCCM.
It would be great if you had:
7. Experience involving multiple Operating System vendors.
8. Microsoft Certifications (MCP, MCITP, MCSE, MCSA, MCTS).
9. Linux/Unix basic skills.
10. Security Clearance.
