A well-established business located between York and Thirsk is currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join their friendly and supportive finance team on a permanent basis. The role offers a salary of up to £29,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities include:
1. Processing and managing the purchase ledger
2. Raising and issuing invoices on the sales ledger
3. Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries
4. Assisting with month-end tasks and reporting
5. Supporting with general finance admin duties
6. Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to ensure smooth processes
Ideal candidate:
* Experience in both purchase and sales ledger
* Good knowledge of accounting systems and Excel
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* A positive, team-player attitude and willingness to learn
* Previous experience in a similar finance role
This opportunity is easily commutable from Malton, Kirkbymoorside, Helmsley, York, Thirsk, Easingwold, Pickering, and surrounding areas. The office has on-site parking, and due to the remote location, candidates will need to drive and have access to their own transport.
