About the role:
This role partners with the CEO to oversee the Integrated Business Planning process across all departments at Grainger & Worrall. You'll coordinate key monthly meetings including Demand Review, Supply Review, and Integrated Business Review, ensuring data collection, presentation preparation, and action tracking. You will gather insights, provide business performance narratives, and support strategic decision-making. You'll also manage business improvement projects, playing a junior "Chief of Staff" role as part of a dynamic team.
What you'll be doing:
Coordinating the integrated business planning process to link sales forecasts, product launches, operational capacity, and governance.
* Preparing and consolidating reports and presentation decks for monthly leadership meetings.
* Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, finance, and manufacturing.
* Monitoring business metrics and providing clear narratives to support leadership decisions.
* Supporting the CEO with follow-up actions from meetings and business initiatives.
* Taking ownership of change projects that improve operational performance and align with growth strategies.
* Developing your commercial understanding of manufacturing operations and business processes.
Who we're looking for:

* A degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related discipline.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders.
* Good numerical and data handling skills with an ability to spot trends and simplify complex information. Proficiency in PowerPoint and report preparation.
* Tenacity, energy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
* Applicants should reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Bridgnorth, Shropshire, as relocation assistance is not available for this role.
* A valid UK driving licence is required
