Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Tutor to support a young person with speech and language difficulties. The role will focus not only on developing academic progress but also on supporting the young person's social, emotional, and mental health needs, which are impacted by their communication challenges. About the role: The right tutor will provide one-to-one support for 3 hours per day (with flexibility on exact timings). The work will involve: Supporting the young person's academic learning in a tailored and accessible way. Encouraging communication skills through structured and informal activities. Building confidence and resilience by creating a safe, supportive learning environment. Using strategies that consider both the educational and emotional needs of the young person.
