Job Description
Glasgow Life is looking for an Open Programme Convenor to join us on a part-time temporary contract, ending on 30 September. The purpose of the role is to oversee, support and deliver Glasgow International’s Open Programme. Reporting to the Festival Director, you will be part of a dedicated team which oversees and delivers the Glasgow International Festival of Contemporary Art.

The role
As a Glasgow International Open Programme Convenor you’ll be an integral part of the team and will oversee, support and deliver Glasgow International’s Open Programme. Reporting to the Festival Director, you will work alongside a dedicated team.
If you’re interested in joining us as Glasgow International’s Open Programme Convenor you’ll need:
-Experience of working in festivals or contemporary arts spaces and/or arts in education/community settings.
-Demonstrated knowledge of Glasgow’s visual art community.
-Demonstrated experience of project management.
-Demonstrated ability to build and sustain relationships with a variety of partners, groups and organisations.
-Production experience – knowledge of timelines and what is needed to install exhibitions and to deliver live events.
