Design Managers at Tesco sit at the intersection of people leadership and design delivery. Your primary responsibility is building and supporting a high‑performing team of designers embedded within product squads, focusing on the performance, well‑being, and development of your team and the quality of digital experiences millions of Tesco customers interact with each week.
You will manage a team of 6‑9 designers across UX and UI disciplines, embedded in squads across Loyalty and Customer Support. Designers work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Researchers to deliver improvements to core experiences including the Tesco App, Clubcard, and Customer Support journeys. You will report into the Head of Design and work alongside Lead Designers and other Design and Research Managers who collectively shape how design operates across the organisation.
