You will play a key role in safeguarding sites, responding swiftly to incidents, and delivering a professional service that reassures our clients and upholds Oakparks standards.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas around Fareham to deter and detect suspicious activities.</li><li>Monitor CCTV systems and utilise surveillance techniques to identify potential security threats.</li><li>Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid as necessary.</li><li>Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when required.</li><li>Document all incidents accurately and report findings to management.</li><li>Assist in the implementation of loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage.</li><li>Maintain a high level of professionalism while interacting with clients, staff, and the public.</li><li>Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills related to security practices and first aid.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Previous experience in a security role is preferred but not essential.</li><li>Knowledge of first aid practices is highly desirable.</li><li>Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is an advantage.</li><li>Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.</li><li>A valid driving licence may be required depending on the location of duties.</li></ul><h3>What Youll Bring</h3><ul><li>A passion for security and customer service.</li><li>Excellent organisational and time-management skills.</li><li>The right to work in the UK.</li></ul></div>
